Very well equipped cottage with sea views from every room and plenty of space both inside and outside. The views are incredible along with the sunsets, dolphins and stars at night. We will definitely be back again!!
Family & friends had a wonderful stay at Rola, it was truly a home from home experience, so comfortable, very well equipped. It was an experience to be so close to the ocean, which can be viewed from almost all windows.
The only negative is that it’s not safe to walk on the main road from the property, which meant we had to drive to walk the dogs. But if you’re reading this review, don’t let that put you off booking this wonderful accommodation. 👍👍
my family and friends stayed here for 4 nights, it was the perfect little location for driving and exploring from and to go home to the perfect sunset cocktails and BBQ. The house was very well equipped and clean, all instructions were very clear and we did not need to contact the owner at all for anything. Would definitely reccomend this place. The only set back was the path leading down to the beach was a bit hard to get through because of prickly bushes but we did manage to do it after a few scratches. Great little holiday here, many happy memories to talk about for years.
thank you Lynne
We were a bit disappointed that the little beach was inaccessible but the views were stunning and Barmouth beach was great for the children, with glorious sand, sand dunes, sea and rides. The cottage was large and very well equipped with extremely comfortable sofas and beds. The local pub was a short drive away and the food there was acceptable with friendly staff.
We really enjoyed our stay at Rola, blessed with great weather, kid-friendly beach, and the beautiful sunset from the garden. We will definitely come back again. 很赞!
Very much enjoyed my stay . Lynne was very helpful. The cottage is perfect. The sea view is amazing and i spent every night watching amazing sunsets. Would not recommend the path to the beach so you will need to drive to for shops or walks but a perfect place to stay to relax and be away from the world. No issues with the cottage at all . Very good internet connection . Will be staying again
We had a great time staying at Rola. View over looking the sea and watching the sunset was beautiful. & really well maintain bedrooms. We were group of 6 and we found plenty of space for group socialising. We had gone walking and gotten very wet so that washer and dryer was very handy.
Overall really enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunately a disappointing stay and sorry to say did not represent good value
I want to be fair about the property and whilst I understand that Lynn only took the property over in June and therefore the previous 5 star reviews are for the previous owners, there were issues mainly within the kitchen; I did not really expect to have to clean the slow cooker before using – and then find that it did not work properly anyway, and clean out the dishwasher and try and get it working – which we could not, and have to deal with a slow leak on the bath, whilst ensuring that the water did not get anywhere near the overflow as we were advised that this was not connected. Whilst Lynn listened to our feedback and said that these issues would be dealt with in the future, this did not assist us when we where there, and meant that our stay was not the relaxing and comfortable experience we had hoped. Until these issues are dealt with, I would not recommend the property and we did not believe that it represented good value as other properties in the area seemed to offer better and working facilities for the same price.

I'm sorry that there were issues with your stay Susan. As explained, the kitchen is about to be completely replaced and this will include installing new appliances such as the dishwasher. The slow cooker has been removed after you pointed it out thank you. The bath overflow I believe has only been an issue if the bath is filled very close to the top but again this will be looked at over the quieter winter period. As you know, I tried to make your stay as comfortable as possible which included purchasing specific bedlinen and having it delivered for you overnight so that you could change to a superking bed. I was sorry you didn't use it in the end. I do hope that you return in the future and hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well. kind regards, Lynne
Beautiful place. Would love to come back
Be 6* if could get down to the private beach a bit easier. We didn't risk the last bit!!

Thank you Keith, the path has deteriorated over time and I'm sorry that it is no longer safe to traverse. We do hope to restore it in the future as it is a great little beach. Kind regards Lynne
A lifetime living on the welsh border and a passion for the outdoors, interests in wildlife, photography and walking drew Phil to the Welsh coast. So,after a successful career as a property developer and with an eye to retirement, Phil aquired Rola farmhouse in 2004. Over 12 months, the Farmhouse was completely renovated and the outbuildings converted to provide 3 stylish holiday homes. Phil met Harj in 2008 and their wedding party was at Rola set beside the sea. Every moment at Rola is treasured and memories created which are shared with friends, family and our many return visitors.
