About this property
2 Bed in Broad Haven (oc-h33632)
Stay at this sweet seaside escape and you can stroll to the beach within minutes, dine out locally or hop in the car and explore this delightful part of Pembrokeshire. Perfect for couples, friends or families, the cottage is located in the charming village of Broad Haven, just 250 metres from its fabulous sandy beach, where you can swim, sunbathe, build sandcastles or try some water sports. Postcard-pretty Little Haven, 1 mile, is connected via the coast path or – when the tide’s out – a huge expanse of sand. Both villages have a lovely selection of places to eat and drink. Walkers can join the coastal path for scenic hikes, or you could hop in the car and head to the tiny city of St Davids, 15 miles, to discover its quirky shops, magnificent cathedral and dramatic Bishop’s Palace.
The end-of-terrace house is set over two storeys and has been traditionally decorated for a tranquil, comfortable getaway. Enter into a cosy hallway, leading to the open-plan lounge/diner, decorated in neutral tones. Here you’ll find a variety of seating gathered around a TV and coal-effect electric fire, making this a lovely space in which to gather for sociable evenings with a favourite movie or perhaps a game of cards at the dining table. The kitchen is relatively compact but nevertheless has everything you’ll need for convenient holiday cooking, including a microwave and a dishwasher, as well as a washing machine. Completing the ground floor is a handy WC. Take the cottage-style, curving stairs to the first floor to find the two restful bedrooms, both with ample storage. They share a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Patio doors from the lounge/diner lead out (with one step down) to a good-sized garden, fully enclosed so children and pets can play safely. Mature shrubs line one side, and there’s outdoor furniture so you can take your morning coffee to enjoy in the fresh air, or set up an evening meal under the stars. Another great benefit of this lovely cottage is a designated space in which to park your car.
