Beau Cottage is a beautiful stone cottage, with lovely countryside views and lots of outside space, including a play field at the back of the cottage for picnics, doggy play time and family games! Surrounded by farm land, just outside Crich and very close to the Tramway Museum, with lots of other exciting attractions and activities in this excellent location.
Inside, the cottage boasts lots of modern features and contemporary décor, with wildlife art prints from the 19th and early 20th century to reflect the countryside location. Comfort and style have all been considered to ensure an enjoyable stay.
Ground Floor:
Living Room: with a choice of sofas and an armchair, wood burning stove, WiFi and Smart TV; compact dining table with sheepskin throws on the bench seating.
Kitchen: well fitted, with Belfast-style sink, electric cooker (double oven and ceramic hob), under-counter fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine.
Shower Room: with walk-in shower enclosure, WC and basin.
Stairs rise from the kitchen to the first floor; please note that there is a banister rail to one side but the other side is open.
First Floor:
Master Bedroom 1: with hand-made super king size bed (zip and link – can be made up as twin beds on request), hanging rail and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2: with a 4’ small double bed and chest of drawers.
Outside: The small lawned front garden is enclosed by a low stone wall and gates. Access to the rear is via the short but narrow driveway leading to a gravelled parking space; a five barred wooden gate leads into an enclosed field with garden furniture and open countryside aspect, ideal for exercising dogs and their human companions, or relaxing with a drink or al fresco meal. Small lockable stone shed available for bike storage.
Bed linen and towels provided.
Electricity included; initial basket of logs provided.
Smoking is not permitted.
