Lovely detached cottage, in a small village in the Derbyshire countryside.
Lovely detached cottage, in a small village in the Derbyshire countryside.Great place for visiting local attractions. The cottage has a big garden which was great for our kids to play in.
We loved our stay at Holly Bank. It was a lovely property in a great location. Having so much space for our kids to run around was fantastic.
Would definitely book again!
This was our second stay at Holly Bank. We love this cottage, easy access to many interesting places to visit, or comfortable to just stay and relax. Plenty of room for children to run around. We had perfect weather and enjoyed staying cool by sitting under the large Sycamore tree and watching the world go by. A walk up to Crich Stand is recommended, amazing views and another place to sit and enjoy it all. The local pub is within easy staggering distance! The beds are so comfortable, so dropping off to sleep at the end of the day is no problem. A highly recommended place to stay. We will definitely be rebooking.

A very clean, comfortable cottage, spacious and well equipped with everything that you need.
A very clean, comfortable cottage, spacious and well equipped with everything that you need. Cosy and warm. Great walks from the door, beautiful area with all that the Derbyshire dales has to offer. There is a friendly pub across the road where we enjoyed a pint but only serving meals at weekends currently. 10 minute walk into the village where another pub, also friendly (the black swan) serves food but with a limited menu. There is an Indian restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent meal one of the best we’ve had! There is also a local Nisa store and a bakery. All in all a very enjoyable winter break.

A lovely, warm, well equipped and comfortable cottage.
A lovely, warm, well equipped and comfortable cottage. The owner popped round on the first day to make sure we were settled in and happy which we thought was good. Several enjoyable walks from the door, and in easy reach of other good walks and attractions

A lovely, spacious and well equipped cottage close to the entrance of the Crich Tramway Museum (which was our main reason for our visit) The beds in the cottage were a little soft for us but other than that everything was perfect! Highly recommended to those looking for a good base in this part of Derbyshire. In the summer the garden would be a lovely place to sit watching the sun go down!
