Newton-in-Bowland, an idyllic village surrounded by the enchanting scenery of the Ribble Valley, is just 2.5 miles away. Steeped in history, the excellent high street and lovely parks of the Ribble Valley's lovely market town of Clitheroe can be reached within 10 miles. Boasting a medieval castle, a great selection of independent cafes, bars and restaurants, and the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, a visit to the market town of Skipton, 23 miles away, is a must.
