The charming coastal village of Alnmouth, located on the River Aln, is known for its beautiful sandy beach and bay. The picturesque golf course and a range of excellent local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants are all within 200 metres of this property. There are walking and cycling routes aplenty along this wonderful stretch of the National Landscape coastline. Head to Craster, with its pretty harbour, historic smokehouse and tasty seafood, and explore Dunstanburgh Castle. Visit Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum (6.5 miles), and Warkworth Castle and Village (4.5 miles) for a tranquil river walk or picnic on the beach (5 miles). Discover Amble’s busting harbour, award-winning shops and circular pier (6 miles), and a day at nearby Alnwick Castle and Gardens is fun for all the family (5 miles).


Enter the property’s front door into the hallway where you can store your outdoor clothing and walking boots. Head into the bright and welcoming lounge where you will find comfortable seating to relax on, a Smart TV, a PlayStation, and books and games for entertainment. There is also a warming gas fire for the cooler months. Enjoy sociable mealtimes and special occasions sitting together in the separate dining room with an ornamental fireplace, a large table and seating for up to nine guests. From the hallway, a shallow step leads down to the well-equipped kitchen where the family cooks will all enjoy preparing tasty meals for everyone on the range-style cooker. The back door leads from the kitchen to the patio area. At bedtime, there are three bedrooms on the first floor. At the front, there is a super-king-size bedroom with an ornamental fireplace, and a single bedroom. The king-size bedroom has a zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as twins on request) and has a view towards the sea. There are also two, brand new bathrooms on the first floor, one has a bath with a hand-held shower attachment and WC, and the other has a walk in shower cubicle and WC. On the second floor, you will find the two remaining bedrooms set into the eaves, each with a king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as twins on request). One of these bedrooms has a Freeview TV, the other has a lovely view of the estuary.


Outside, at the rear of the house, seven stone steps lead down to the enclosed, courtyard-style patio area with a large garden table and seating, perfect for eating outdoors in the warmer months. A gate leads out to the lane and beach beyond.
