The coastline around St Merryn is known for its ‘seven bays for seven days’ and you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to idyllic, sandy beaches. Nearby days out include the picturesque harbour town of Padstow (5.5 miles) and the vibrant seaside resort of Newquay (15 miles).


The lodge is set on a popular holiday park alongside similar holiday retreats. Inside, a bright, open-plan living space awaits, with dual-aspect windows, comfortable furniture, and attractive artwork adorning the walls. In one corner, you’ll find a sleek kitchen area for preparing home-cooked meals after a day at the beach, which you can share at the elegant dining table or at the breakfast bar. After dinner, unwind in the lounge area to read a book or catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Beyond the living space, you’ll find the property’s three inviting bedrooms. The single bedroom has also has a single pull out trundle bed, and one of the double bedrooms has an en-suite shower room. All the bedrooms boast Smart TVs. Completing the accommodation is a family bathroom with an indulgent corner bath. From the living area, patio doors open onto a decked terrace with a relaxing hot tub and furniture for al fresco dining . Guests also have access to a shared BBQ onsite and a shop and seasonal pub. Private parking is available for two cars.


St Merryn is an attractive village with a handful of local shops, independent eateries, and friendly pubs. Further afield, the foodie town of Padstow is just over 5 miles away, offering a wide choice of restaurants, many of which serve delicious, fresh seafood. This stretch of the Cornish coast is renowned for its stunning beaches, and nearby highlights include the surfing hotspot of Porthcothan (2.5 miles) and the sweeping, sandy arc of Constantine Bay (3 miles). You can join the dramatic South West Coast Path just 3 miles from the lodge, and you’ll also find some gorgeous walks to explore around Trevose Head (4 miles).
