It’s not too far from the beloved Chatsworth House (7.5 miles), a Derbyshire manor house known for its exhibitions, never-ending gardens and regular events. Children will love the farmyard and playground on the estate, with pygmy goats and smaller critters to pet and feed, or for thrill-seekers, try Gulliver's Kingdom just 8 miles. Beauty spots close by include Ashford in the Water (11 miles), Lathkill Dale (13 miles) and the Monsal Head Viaduct (12.5 miles).
