About this property
Links Lodge | Blacklaws Steading
Links Lodge is a bright and contemporary four-bedroom holiday home set within the sought-after Blacklaws Steading development – a smart countryside base for families, friends and golfers looking for space, comfort and fresh Fife air. Sleeping up to eight guests, it offers generous living areas, beautifully kept communal gardens and easy access to the East Neuk’s fishing villages and coastline. Wi-Fi is included, and there’s private parking for two cars plus visitor spaces. One well-behaved dog is welcome (terms and supplement apply).
A welcoming reception hall leads into the ground floor living spaces. Double doors open to a spacious dual-aspect lounge, where large windows and doors onto the central gardens keep everything light and airy. Two three-seater sofas (one with chaise), an accent armchair with matching footstool, coffee table, side tables and lamps create a relaxed seating area, while a large Smart TV with Sky takes care of evening entertainment. The dual-aspect kitchen/dining room is fitted in a classic shaker style with a broad breakfast bar and high stools, electric hob, oven, extractor, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and coffee machine. A glass dining table with eight contemporary chairs makes this a great space for long, lazy meals after a day exploring the East Neuk or playing golf. Off the kitchen, a handy utility room houses the washing machine, microwave and BBQ, with a door straight out to the central gardens. There’s also a contemporary ground-floor cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin, plus a flexible study/bedroom 4, which can be used as a work space with day bed or made up as either a single or double (with two single duvets) depending on your group.
Upstairs, the bedroom layout is ideal for mixed parties. The dual-aspect master suite has Juliet balconies front and back with lovely open views, a super-king bed, bedside tables and lamps, a large footstool, TV with Sky and a modern en-suite shower room with WC, basin and glazed enclosure. Bedroom 2 is a generous double with a super-king zip-and-link bed that can also be arranged as twin singles on request, while Bedroom 3 offers two single divan beds, bedside table, lamp and matching drawer storage. These rooms share a smart family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, WC, wash hand basin, half-tiling and a chrome heated towel rail.
Outside, Blacklaws Steading is surrounded by beautifully maintained communal garden grounds. To the rear, a central lawned garden provides a lovely shared space to sit out, with direct access from the lounge and utility room making it easy to wander in and out with a coffee or evening drink. At the front of the lodge, there are two allocated private parking spaces, with additional visitor parking available. With a range of quality golf courses within easy reach and St Andrews – the Home of Golf – around 9 miles away, Links Lodge is particularly well suited to golf-focused breaks, but works just as well for relaxed family holidays or group getaways in this scenic corner of Fife.
If you’re planning a larger gathering, Swilken Lodge next door is also available to book separately and can sleep up to 10 additional guests.
