Wallace Hill Cottage, part of the renowned Garsington Opera Studios, is a newly renovated annexe offering practical, comfortable accommodation in the Chilterns AONB. Each guest enjoys a private bedroom with natural-wood furniture and a small double bed. The cottage includes a compact shared kitchen and living area with all essentials for a relaxed and convenient stay in this beautiful countryside setting.
Wallace Hill Cottage forms part of the Garsington Opera Studios and has been completely renovated to provide clean, comfortable and thoughtfully designed accommodation in a beautiful Chilterns setting.
Externally, the building reflects the area’s traditional Chilterns architecture, with classic brick and flint detailing that sits naturally within its rural surroundings. Inside, the accommodation is modern, practical and well finished, offering fresh interiors that are both welcoming and easy to live in.
The property offers four private bedrooms, all located on the second floor. Each bedroom is furnished with modern wooden furniture and includes ample storage, ensuring guests have everything they need for a relaxed and organised stay. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed and designed with functionality in mind—ideal for individuals, small groups or those working nearby
Please note: Although the bed size says 'double bed', the actual size is a 'small double'. Some platforms do not allow us to select 'small double
Guests share two contemporary bathrooms, both fitted with spacious walk-in showers, providing a convenient and efficient layout for multiple occupants.
On the lower level, the kitchen and living space is compact yet highly practical, allowing guests to prepare meals and dine together comfortably. While not large, the space has been carefully arranged to make excellent use of every inch.

Offering a hotel-like experience, Pass the Keys has an industry-leading high cleaning standard. All properties benefit from having hotel-grade linens and all the home comforts you probably expect (like shampoo, soap, hair dryer, iron etc.).
If you do need some assistance before or during your stay, the property manager is local to the property and the guest support team is available 24/7. We look forward to welcoming you!
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
