Renting this amazing property was perhaps our best decision on Madeira, which is saying something! The views were breathtaking, the amenities were luxurious, and the full-sized washer and dryer were a God-send! As previous reviewers noted, the entry is a bit tricky on such a steep road but as you’ll learn when driving around the island, all the residential roads are steep! And we got the hang of it pretty quickly. We did not see any ants like previous reviewers had so that’s all taken care of as well. We loved escaping to this quiet retreat after our exciting days exploring the island! 10/10! Highly recommend!

Great family stay

Lovely views from the villa. Quality furniture and furnishings. All new and clean. Easy to operate heated swimming pool. Although the access and exit to and from the villa with a car is very difficult. There were ants in the kitchen area, a suitable treatment would be welcome. The spray provided is not suitable for kitchen/food areas. Also is you can ask for the 2euro/day visitor fee to the city hall more in advance. Sending instructions for a bank transfer 2 days before our departure was bit short of time.
