Beautiful house and grounds, nice location

We were a group of 13, who rented bikes and enjoyed the food, beaches, scenery and culture of the area. The house is plenty big for 13 people, with multiple indoor and outdoor places. The porches were wonderful, as pictured, and we spent a lot of time in these beautiful and relaxing places. The pictures and description are all accurate. The Baiona beach/town was much prettier and more pleasant than we expected, and very close. The hosts were responsive to all our questions. The only thing that could have been improved, was faster internet, but we were having such a nice time we never asked the hosts about it.

Un jardín con mucho encanto

Villadonas tiene un encanto especial con rincones para evadirse y disfrutar. La zona de la piscina y la terraza acristalada fueron nuestros rincones favoritos. La dueña escuchó todas nuestra sugerencias de mejora. Internet sí que es un punto claro de mejora y también quizá algo más de orden. Buena opción para familias o grupos grandes por su número de habitaciones

INIGUALABLE

Hemos pasado 15 días en esta Villa increíble. Todo en ella es de ensueño: la casa principal y la de los invitados, la distribución, la decoración, los enseres, vajillas.. Se ve que es una casa familiar, llena de detalles personales y con historias detrás de cada uno de ellos. El exterior de la casa es impresionante: los diferentes porches, la piscina, enorme y con el agua impoluta y como guinda del pastel, su jardín, una verdadera joya, bellísimo, lleno de rincones increíbles y digno de un botánico. Además quiero destacar la amabilidad y el cariño mostrados por Mariluz, la propietaria, y por Yolanda, la encargada, velando en todo momento por nuestro confort y nuestras necesidades. Desde aquí quiero agradecerles, de corazón todo lo que han hecho por nosotros. Una casa excepcional.

Galicia hermosa

La casa es muy acogedora, el jardín y la piscina está muy bien cuidados. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas , en especial el anexo nuevo. La zona de Baiona es hermosa, mar y montaña. Hay buena oferta de restaurantes. Maria Luz la dueña siempre pendiente de todo. Dispone de servicio diario de limpieza. Se requiere de coche para movilizarse. Paraiso para ciclismo y caminatas. Volveremos.

Excelente experiência que nos han proporcionado en esta villa. Tiene todo lo necesario para unos dias con un grupo con adultos y niños, para cocinar y pasarlo bien. Muy confortable. Volveremos sin duda, preferiblemente en verano para utilizar la piscina.

A beautiful rural retreat to relax in and enjoy the treasures of Galicia from.

We loved Villa Donas, it's village setting and the surrounding areas. It has everything! It was a perfect home to stay and relax in and enjoy the pool and gorgeous gardens all day long or, you could spend hours exploring the surrounding historical areas, vibrant restaurants or just lie on the beach for hours on end . We were a party of 7 Australians and this was the perfect rural retreat for us. It is a tranquil place perfect for all kinds of guests. Our host were very generous and helpful and I would highly recommend staying at Villa Donas. We were all sad to leave and would have loved to stay for another week. One week wasn't enough.

Muy recomendable

La casa es tal y como muestran las fotos: un sueño. Estuvimos cuatro familias con hijos jóvenes y cuenta con tantos ambientes diferenciados, que estuvimos todos super a gusto. La ubicación es perfecta pues tiene cerca tanto el acceso a la autopista para poderse desplazar a cualquier punto, como las playas y servicios de supermercados, panaderia, gasolinera,... pero a la vez se encuentra en un paraje muy tranquilo donde apenas a unos metros puedes encontrar una pequeña iglesia, un bar, o rutas para caminar ( recomiendo Pedra Moura),... Mariluz, la propietaria, un encanto y siempre dispuesta a facilitar cual quier tipo de información.

Lovely home

We arrived at the villa and were shown around the two properties and garden by Mariluz herself. We were a party of 13 and there was plenty of space for us all to sleep and unpack. Fresh towels for all of us and enough bathrooms, supplied with gorgeous smelling shower gel in each one. Log fire and central heating (we were unlucky with the weather!) kept us cosy. The house is clearly a home, filled with lovely objects and pictures. Despite the weather, a couple of us managed a swim and we managed to get in a few games of table tennis down by the pool. Less than 10 mins drive from local shops (you definitely need a car to get around) . The area is beautiful and there are good restaurants within a short distance. When you drive back through the electronic gate and shut it behind you, you are in a haven of peace and relaxation, with the resident Robin Redbreast keeping a beady eye on you, to make sure you really do switch off. Thanks to Mariluz and Jaime for their attention and immediate response to any questions we had and for opening the doors of their home to us in such a generous way.

Increíble casa en una zona fantástica!

Hemos estado una semana toda la familia y ha sido fantástico. La casa es una maravilla, especialmente los exteriores con distintos porches y zonas en las que disfrutar relajadamente de la tranquilidad de la zona. No le falta detalle. La piscina estupenda. Íbamos con niños y han disfrutado mucho. Está muy bien ubicada cerca de Baiona y playas como Praia América. Mari Luz encantadora nos dió info sobre la zona que nos fue muy útil. Unas vacaciones de Semana Santa de 10!! Sí volvemos por la zona no dudaremos en repetir.

Mejor opción para coonocer las Rias Baixas

Pasamos una semana con la familia en esta casa... Estuvimos encantados, la casa super chula, jardin precioso y aprovechamos un montón la piscina. El fin de semama vienieron unos amigos y la propietaria nos ofreció la casa de invitados sin ningún problema. Trato muy amable y muy buena ubicación para disfrutar de la playa y montaña de las Rias Baixas. Muy Recomendable

A beautiful house for a group holiday

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house is extremely comfortable and full of rustic charm and personal touches. It felt like being at home. The garden is large and a pleasure to relax in. The barbecue is wonderful, as are the many outside dining areas (there are three!) so you can vary your dining experiences throughout your stay. There is a large swimming pool, table tennis, bats and balls for entertainment, and we visited the nearby tennis courts too. The hosts, Mariluz and her son, Jaime, were extremely helpful and accommodating in the run up to, during, and following our stay. I cannot recommend this place highly enough for a large group (there were 9 of us + a baby) - great location, great atmosphere in a lovely part of Spain that doesn't feel too touristy.

La casa y la ubicación superó nuestras expectativas con creces. La casa es perfecta, no le falta detalle, es muy estilosa y especial. El equipamiento y trato con la propietaria ha sido espectacular. Fuimos un grupo de 12 personas, seis parejas de amigos, y usamos tanto la casa principal como la de invitados, con vistas directas a la piscina y al impresionante jardín. Ideal para familias o amigos buscando un lugar tranquilo y muy cercano a la playa en coche
