Our overall experience was very diminished by the lack of service from the host. We were able to access the property fairly easily with some help opening the key box. On entering the temperature was 28C, all the radiators were on, there was a bag of dirty laundry in the hallway and no instructions for the AC. Also there were no sheets for the sofa bed. Despite several requests for assistance and assurances that the problems would be resolved the next day, nothing was ever done during our 5 day stay. We eventually worked out the AC unit otherwise we would have left the apartment. There were no dish towels or paper towels. The unit itself is well appointed, 8 minute walk away from cabs and market (but we had to find those ourselves, no helpful welcome information in the apartment) and the Borghese Gardens and Gallery is within walking distance. I cannot recommend this apartment unless the issues we encountered are resolved. I have never experienced this with VRBO properties before, it was very disappointing.
