JJ's Landing is a great place for just a small group of people. This home is a large downstairs studio apartment with a nice living/dining area, sleeping area and small kitchen. There is a private full bathroom. This home offers a new 500-foot lighted private pier with a boat dock. A great covered patio facing the water is wonderful for relaxing and grilling.
Satellite TV. BBQ. Air conditioned. Pets Allowed for $100 nonrefundable fee.

Peaceful but Lacking Any Conveniences

The location and view are great. The home is very dated and the shower head is less than 5’6 bc it was lower than my head. Be aware that you need to pack every food item that you want bc there is no convenience store or grocery store. The restaurants in town are average. Great spot to get away from it all.

The property is dated but it did the job. Shower head too low and the towels all super miss matched ( ended up driving to Raymondville and buying our own). The pier had only three working walkway lights and the big light at the end of the pier did NOT work! Super bummer especially when everyone else's pier lights next to us did work.

Property is as it is described. Could use some updating but everything you need is there. There were plenty of linens and pillows. Nice AC and fan. Room is very sound proof. Very peaceful. Owner lives above and was nice to chat with. Pier was great. Owner put in a brand new grill while we were there. He was also repairing some issues with the pier. We enjoyed our stay.

Great weekend

Very good enjoyed the weekend no complaints only issue was the microwave didn't work and there were a few boards were missing on the pier (neighbor repaired) other than that all was great.we will rent again.

A little noisy this time

Enjoyed the cabin. Owner and family was upstairs. A little noisy as they were hammering and screwing something upstairs and in their garage. They were polite but it was disturbing while they worked upstairs.
