About this property
Gorwel, Aberporth - Two Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 5
Just 800m from the Blue Flag sandy beaches at Aberporth on Cardigan Bay, Gorwel is a detached house on a private road. It offers bright, light and comfortable accommodation with a semi-enclosed garden to front and rear and is within walking distance of all local amenities: restaurants, takeaways, cosy pubs, local shop, post office and a chemist.
The house is perfect for young families, for older people looking for a quiet retreat and anyone who enjoys both sea and country environments. It makes a good base for walkers, being near the Cardigan Bay coastal path with its stunning scenery. A cliff top walk takes you along the coast to Tresaith, where you can enjoy an evening meal at the pub and watch the sun set over the sea. Wildlife thrives along this coastal path and dolphins and seals can also be spotted.
Just a few minutes’ drive in any direction will take you to beautiful unspoilt beaches, headlands and charming fishing villages. There are many other activities nearby such as quad biking, fly fishing, canoeing, sea sports, horse riding and golf. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is a scenic drive away along with the many castles and visitor attractions of the area.
