Perched on a quiet hillside above the olive-cloaked valley of Vasilikades, this graceful modern villa looks out across a wide expanse of blue, where the Ionian Sea meets the horizon.

On the ground floor, the open plan living space flows out to a spacious terrace, where the private pool appears to merge with the sea beyond. From here, days unfold at an unhurried pace, starting with a  morning dip in the water, a relaxed lunch in the shade while enjoying the wonderful view, followed by an evening glass of wine as the sun dips behind the hills.  On this level you will also find a twin bedroom, with direct access to the sun terrace, plus a separate bathroom for your convenience. 

The is one bedroom on the ground floor with direct access to the sun terrace. Two further bedrooms are located on the first floor, both have their own ensuite shower room plus balconies from which the wonderful views can be enjoyed from. 

The friendly village of Vasilikades lies within strolling distance and hosts a small shop (700m) and a couple of welcoming tavernas (500m) serving traditional dishes under vine-covered terraces. 

In one direction the colourful harbour of Fiskardo (10.5km) provides elegant waterfront restaurants, sailing boats and leisurely Ionian charm. In the opposite direction the enchanting village of Assos (11km), crowned by its Venetian fortress, makes for a perfect half-day trip. The drive between the two is scenic with cypress-lined hills and spectacular views at every turn. Vasilikades is the ideal choice for those wanting to easily explore the delights of Kefalonia by car whilst also having a small selection of amenities close by.

Guests will be sure to visit some of Kefalonia’s loveliest beaches, including Alaties (8km), Agia Jerusalem (8.5km) and Kamini (5.5km), where clear turquoise water laps at white stone coves.

On street parking is available directly outside the villa. Being located next door to Anesis means Vasilikades could be a good choice for an extended family or a group of friends who can be near to each other whilst retaining their own individual space and privacy.
Please note: The Greek Government charge a Climate Tax which is payable by guests staying in hotels and other properties. For Vasilikades the charge is a flat rate of €15 (£13.04) per night. For your convenience we will add this amount to your booking, rather than you having to pay it in resort.
