House with private pool walking distance from village and 6km from Orvieto.

The property lies 400 meters from the village of Porano and 6 kms from the well known city of Orvieto. It lies in a very quiet area (it’s the last house of the street) and from the garden you have nice views on Porano and the country. It’s available for rent for holidays starting from 2026. The whole property is for your exclusive use and not shared with any other persons. The house has a large garden with olive grove and small vineyard. The pool of 12 by 6 meters (+ 2 meters romain stairs) lies in front of the house and is equipped with trampoline (depth goes from 1 to 2,5 meters). Close to the pool there is a gazebo with table and chairs if you like to eat next to the pool. On the eastern side of the house there are covered parking places for 2-3 cars, a pizza oven / bbq and a gas stove. The house is suitable for 6 persons (3 double bedrooms). Baby cot and high chair are also available. On the ground floor there is a veranda with access to the dining and living room. The dining room has table and chairs for 8 persons and the living room has a 3 seat Sofa and flat-TV. Next to the living room there is a bathroom with shower and toilet. From the dining room you have access to the kitchen. It’s equipped with fridge/freezer, induction stove, oven, microwave, and nespresso coffee machine. The 3 bedrooms are all on the upper floor. All have a double bed, fan, mosquito nets on the windows and own terrace with panoramic view. There is one bathroom with bathtub and toilet.
The nearest shops (2 supermarkets, baker, pharmacy) are in village of Porano at 1,4-1,6km from the property. There is a big supermarket close to the highway exit at Orvieto, this is open all the days (also on Sunday) until 20h. Nearest restaurants: Il Boccone del prete (very characteristic in a cave) 400 meters from the house, restaurant-pizzeria da Claudio at 1,6km. Other restaurants we advice: Il Conte or Antica Trattoria - Dal Bisteccaro at 7 km, Fuorimano at 8 km, Il corsica and La Palomba in the historic center of the city of Orvieto. Nearest golf courses: Acquapendente Golf Club at 15 Kms, the Golf Club Nazionale Resort is 70 Kms far away.
The property lies halfway between the well known city of Orvieto and the Bolsena lake and it's charming villages. Beside the lake and Orvieto there are many nice villages to visit in the surroundings (Civita di Bagnoregio, Todi, Montepulciano, Tuscania,...) and it lies in a en excellent positioned to visit Umbria, southern Tuscany, Rome and northern Lazio. Siena and Rome are both at 1h30 driving and the sand beaches of Tarquinia are at 1 hour driving (the well known area of Argentario is at 1h20 driving). Highway and train station at 10 minutes driving. It lies around 10 kms from the well known city of Orvieto and 10 Kms from the lake of Bolsena. The trainstation of Orvieto Scalo is 12 Kms far away. If you want to visit Rome and Florence, the trip is of around 1h30.
