About the host
Hosted by Alexandros
My name is Alexandros, and I was born on the beautiful island of Andros. This house is my family home, where I grew up, and it was fully renovated in the summer of 2024, when it officially opened for guests. It has been restored with great love and care, aiming to capture our deep affection for the sea and the island.
In my free time, I enjoy painting, and you’ll find some of my own artworks hanging on the walls throughout the house. I hope you feel the warmth and passion we put into this home and that it helps make your stay unforgettable.

What makes this property unique
What makes our property unique is its location. Although it is right in the heart of the bustling island capital—just under a minute’s walk from the center—it is situated in one of the quietest neighborhoods, making it perfect for rest and relaxation without any noise.
Additionally, the house’s name is inspired by the nautical term “Apaggio”, which refers to a sheltered spot where ships are protected from storms. Similarly, the house is naturally shielded from the wind, including the strong summer meltemi breezes, providing a calm and peaceful retreat.
