Welcome to Hakuna Matata, a two-bedroom maisonette apartment, centrally located in Poole and only a few minutes’ walk to Poole Quay, where there are ferries for trips around the harbour, to Brownsea Island or local coastal towns. A great base for exploring the harbour, Jurassic Coast and wider Dorset, with great restaurants a short stroll away for long lunches or evenings out.

Poole has a historic Old Town, boat trips, events, a theatre and much more, and lies approximately 6 miles west of Bournemouth. It is highly accessible both by car and by train – the station is moments from the main shopping area.

Poole is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful country of Dorset, its stunning beaches and its Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site. For cultural events, the Poole Lighthouse theatre and concert hall offers a dazzling array of dramatic productions and music, and is home to the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Shopping facilities in Poole focus around the Dolphin Shopping Centre and the pedestrianised High Street, interspersed with cafés and coffee shops for well-earned refreshment.

A stroll down the High Street leads visitors to Poole Quay, and the multitude of bars and restaurants offering an excellent array of culinary choice. Once replete, why not walk off lunch with a stroll on The Quay and along the harbourside path at Baiter? The beauty of Poole is that all these attractions and facilities are within easy walking distance of each other. Whilst Poole is an excellent base for beaches and for exploring the beauty of the Dorset countryside, there is no shortage of things to do and see on its very doorstep!
