The cottage is fully centrally heated, ensuring year-round comfort, whether you’re visiting in the height of summer or enjoying a quieter off-season break. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a dining table and chairs provide a cosy spot for leisurely breakfasts or relaxed evening meals.Upstairs, the bedroom has a stunning vaulted ceiling with chandelier and offers a restful space to unwind, complete with bedside tables, chest of drawers and quality bed linen. The bathroom includes a shower, toilet and wash basin, with towels provided for your stay. Immediately outside the front door to the cottage, there is a small, covered alleyway where walkers and birdwatchers can store their outdoor boots and hang wet coats to dry, or cyclists can use as secure and dry storage for up to two bicycles single file. During warmer weather, this little area is provided with a small table and two chairs, offering some outdoor space to enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine at the end of the day.

The town of Saxmundham, perfectly positioned for discovering the best of Suffolk, has a long history going right back to the Doomsday Book, and was once on the Coach and horses’ route from London to the coast. Many of the buildings in the ‘old town’ of Saxmundham are from the Georgian period as a result. Today, Saxmundham is a lively and characterful town, with independent shops, Art galleries, cafes and bars.
