About the host
Hosted by Catherine Sinclair-Stott
Having visited the Outer Hebrides for many years, in 2017 we finally secured some land in our favourite location on the west coast of the Isle of Harris. Although we loved visiting and touring the islands, we were never completely satisfied with the standard of accommodation available. We wanted to create a property with a boutique hotel feel which offers not only an incredible location, but which is beatifully designed externally and internally and caters for our guests' every need.
Why they chose this property
The west coast on the Isle of Harris is remote and stunningly beautiful. The views are spectacular as the house faces directly onto the wild Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding hills too. A few minutes' walk takes guests directly to the quiet and hidden beach facing the house.
What makes this property unique
The Sheep Station offers a true 5 star luxury stay in a remote and tranquil location. This is self-catering, but with a boutique hotel feel. The house is spacious and beautifully appointed, whilst offering all the amenities and practical equipment to ensure our guests have a relaxing and stess free Hebridean holiday.
