Captains Quarter's with ocean views

Welcome aboard the Captain's Quarters, a Heceta Beach view house with convenient easy access to Heceta Beach just three houses away! It was built in 1979, remodeled in 2006 to 1736 square feet, and totally renovated inside and out in 2017. Experience the carefree feeling of sailing away on your very own ship.

The décor throughout is done in an elegant yet modern nautical theme fit for the finest captain and his crew!

There is plenty of parking for three cars or one car and a truck and trailer hauling your toys. As an added bonus, this house has a large bright finished garage which is an asset for winter visits or perhaps to park your Rhody Parade vintage car in!
The full-size washer and dryer is located in the garage. The garage door leads to the large back deck protected from the wind by glass panels and a cedar wood ship art wall. While sitting at the outdoor table, lounging in the Adirondack chairs or on the deck bench, enjoy the sounds of the ocean. You will be surprised by the large whimsical nautical backyard the owners have been working on! One easy step through the front door of this house and a large dining room welcomes you with an oak table for six. The large bright kitchen is fully stocked with all new contents, and includes a microwave, dishwasher, side by side refrigerator, electric stove, and everything you need for preparing a special meal.

Off the dining room is the first bedroom, appropriately called the "Crews Quarters", which has a new queen bed, full size closet, and a 32" flatscreen tv. The bright red wall and coastal artwork will inspire you. The full bathroom is located across the hall and has a shower/tub combo. Continue down the hall and you enter the captain's sitting quarters adorned with two bright red couches, nautical surprises, a bit of an ocean view, and a door out to the back deck. The master suite, appropriately called the "Captain's Quarters", is also on the first floor. You will realize why the captain sleeps so well here. There is a new luxurious king bed, 40" flatscreen tv, an electric fireplace with magical lights, and a sitting desk in the bay window for your laptop. The nautical master bathroom has a walk-in shower, large counter, and huge walk-in closet.
Take the stairs to the second floor or what is known as the captain's upper deck, a large open space with a white balcony rail overlooking the captain's sitting quarters. Ring the authentic Captain's bell as you view the ocean and stunning sunsets through the expansive windows! Here you will find the 65" flatscreen smart tv that the captain specifically ordered. Imagine watching movies and sports here while it is storming outside! There are two comfortable couches with ottomans to relax and read a book. There's a large table for six for family game time and working puzzles while watching the ocean activity. This area leads to the upper outdoor deck where you can enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sweeping views of the ocean! A surprise third bedroom is located on the upper deck which is appropriately called "Under the Sea". There are two new twin beds in this beautifully decorated blue room. Set sail and enjoy making memories at the Captain's Quarters!

Everything was perfect. We loved the book with tips and hints for the area. Location was superb. Two living areas and two large tables were great. The back yard is perfect for young kids and for just enjoying the porch after a long day.

Perfect beach getaway

Just a block from the beach, this cozy house had everything we needed for 3 generations to celebrate the holidays. The loft and bedroom upstairs gave the kids their own space while the grown-ups hung out downstairs.

Spring break getaway

We had a great stay here! The kids loved the upstairs and ping pong table, while my husband and I would read books in the living room area downstairs. My husband had to work a few days and the desk in the master bedroom was perfect. We also spent a lot of time with my youngest flying kites and running on the dunes.

We had a great time. CQ was great for the 6 of us. The beach was a short walk and quite beautiful. We love games so made great use of what they had available. The nautical theme was very appropriate and quaint. Close to lots of sightseeing and adventures!

Immaculate space with easy access to beach!

We’re three long-time women friends who meet annually for relaxation, good food and drink, sightseeing and talking about old times. Captains Quarters is ideal with every corner super clean, lots of flexible space, close to old town Florence and the beach. All that we found lacking was some foil, plastic wrap, or small lidded containers for storing leftovers. Thanks for your hospitality!

The Best Beach Rental We’ve Ever Had!

We (my husband and I) can’t say enough good things about the Captain’s Quarters! Impeccably clean, well laid out and well furnished, all kinds of fun and quaint little touches everywhere. We don’t have kids but we can see how the upstairs loft & bedroom with tv & games would be perfect for keeping them entertained. Lovely view from the upstairs deck and privacy in the enclosed backyard. The beach is literally steps away, and we slept to the sound of waves through the open windows each night. Very peaceful neighborhood. We had such a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

Absolutely gorgeous!!

This was our third time on the beautiful Oregon coast but the first time at Captain's Quarters. What a treat!!! The house is absolutely gorgeous, well-appointed and well-stocked. The beds are super comfy, the Master a dream. Our three boys loved the upstairs with a big table and games, as well as the ping pong table in the garage. Our grandmother loved the deck for reading and downtime. Anything and everything you may need is available (Kitchen utensils, enough towels, washing machine/dryers etc). Walking distance to the beach. We both travel lots for work, both in North America and Europe and this has been by far our favourite spot. We will definitely come back!!

Fabulous Weekend in Florence

Amazing house for families! So clean and well cared for. Master suite for parents/grandparents. The house is completely & tastefully decorated with a nautical theme. Our elderly grandmother who has limited mobility came with us and the house worked great for her. Everything she needed was on the mail level. Enormous loft with couches, tv, game table, game cupboards, etc. was great for the kids because it gave them their own space. They loved the seahorse decorations in their room upstairs. One block from the beach. Easy beach access. We loved MO’s Seafood and BJ’s Ice Cream. Highly recommended vacation rental!

Great home near the beach!

Great 3 Bdr home with plenty of room to spread out. Home was very clean, kitchen well furnished, beds and furnishing comfortable and amenities were excellent. Had a great time playing table tennis and cornhole! One block walk to the beach. Upper deck has a view of the ocean and is an excellent spot to watch the sunset.

Perfect Location and Walking Distance to the beach!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. We had everything we needed and there was plenty of space for all of us. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach!! If we had to find anything wrong at all, it would be the lockbox because it was a bit hard to see the numbers. Other than that, it was perfect and we are planning to return next year!

Loved the Captain’s Quarters. Everything about it was great! Our kids range from 3-18 and all of them enjoyed the house equally! The house was very clean and stocked very well. The location was great. It’s secluded and so close to the beach. It was great to open the windows and hear the ocean. We really needed a relaxing getaway and we definitely got it!!! We will definitely be back!

The property is very clean, spacious and well stocked. Not as much as it was before the pandemic, but that is understandable. Our bed was very comfortable. The 60 inch TV did not work, but that is our only complaint. It was very windy so it was too cold to walk on the beach, although we tried several times. It was beautiful the day we were leaving

This house was very functional and cozy. It is a minute walk to the beach and centrally located making it easy to visit many sites along the coast. We enjoyed the cozy loft living room for movies and the deck with a view. Would definitely recommend.
