This spacious and charming apartment, decorated in detail to provide maximum comfort and make you feel at home, is the perfect base for exploring the island of São Miguel and its attractions.

Ideal for families or groups of friends, this accommodation features a bright open-plan living and dining area. The living area is equipped with a comfortable blue sofa, perfect for relaxing and watching TV after a day of sightseeing.

The modern and independent kitchen is fully equipped and ideal for preparing all daily meals. In addition to essential utensils and crockery, the kitchen features a kettle, coffee machine, microwave, oven, induction hob, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as other appliances to help with everyday life.

The apartment comprises three harmoniously decorated bedrooms equipped with storage space for your belongings. Two of the bedrooms are very spacious and offer inviting queen-size beds and a balcony overlooking the street. The third bedroom is equipped with two comfortable single beds and has access to the private terrace, ideal for easily gathering the group outdoors around the table and enjoying the fantastic natural light throughout the day, which brightens the entire area.

All beds come with quality bed linen to ensure maximum comfort.

The bathrooms are fully equipped with all amenities, including towels and toiletries for your convenience.

The space is always professionally cleaned.

Important note: Access to the property is exclusively via stairs, which may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility. Additionally, as it is located on one of the city's main and most vibrant streets, some noise may be heard during the night, especially at weekends.

Located on the iconic and picturesque Rua dos Mercadores, this accommodation places you right in the beating heart of the Historic Centre of Ponta Delgada. The energy of this street is absolutely contagious, blending the rich Azorean history with a vibrant and cosmopolitan local life. The great highlight of this address is, without a doubt, the fantastic convenience of having the famous Taberna Açor located right on the floor below. This is one of the most famous and charismatic gastronomic spaces on the island, meaning the best tapas, regional cheeses and traditional Azorean flavours are literally just a flight of stairs away!

Being at the epicentre of the city, you can forget the car to explore Ponta Delgada's most iconic attractions. Just a few steps away, you will find the majestic Portas da Cidade and the beautiful Igreja Matriz de São Sebastião. A pleasant short walk quickly brings you to the Marginal Avenue and the Marina (from where the unforgettable whale and dolphin watching tours depart), as well as the vibrant Mercado da Graça, the ideal place to buy the sweet local pineapples.

As well as being a perfect city retreat, Ponta Delgada is the ideal strategic base for exploring the natural wonders of the island of São Miguel. Thanks to excellent road access, short drives will take you to the magical and green landscape of Sete Cidades and its twin lakes, the thermal charm and famous cozido of Furnas, or the north coast towards Ribeira Grande and the stunning Lagoa do Fogo.

The apartment is located on Rua dos Mercadores, in the heart of the Historic Centre of Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel, Azores.

The nearest airport is João Paulo II Airport, just approximately 10 minutes by car from the apartment, easily accessible by taxi or ride-sharing services.

Thanks to its central location, most of Ponta Delgada's attractions are easily reachable on foot. To explore the rest of the island of São Miguel, such as Sete Cidades, Furnas or Lagoa do Fogo, we recommend renting a car, which offers total freedom and flexibility.

This is a self check-in property and you will be asked to verify your identity before being able to check in to the apartment (15:00).

We ask all guests to fill in a registration form that will be sent after the reservation is confirmed, in accordance with the legal obligations set out by the local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance smoking policy on the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g. smell of tobacco, ash, cigarette butts, etc.), we reserve the right to charge a fee of at least €200 EUR.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair usage policy for utilities will apply with an included limit of €80.

For the first few days, we provide the following basic amenities: small containers of shower gel, shampoo and soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, washing-up liquid and a bin bag.

Extra keys: €20 (extra set when possible, lost keys or door-opening service).
Extra cleaning: price of a cleaning fee.
Extra linen: €30 (towels and bed linen for 2 people, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
