Beautiful landscape surrounds Cardigan, and the rocky Pembrokeshire coastline is only a few miles away. You can also go on a boat ride to see dolphins and seals. Take a ride on the National Cycle Route, Number 82, if you're a keen cyclist. The Preseli Mountains, which are close by, provide excellent walking and cycling opportunities, as well as breathtaking vistas and an ancient stone monument. Carmarthen, Dylan Thomas' Boat House in Laugharne, Oakwood Theme Park, Blue Lagoon indoor waterpark, Folly Farm Zoo, and the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran, as well as a variety of castles, mills, and craft centres, are all within driving distance. Cardigan is a great place to start your explorations of this region of Wales.
