When you go, Google Maps drops you in the middle of Letterfearn, past your destination. Look for the name Taigh na Carr at ground level at the intersection of the driveway and the road. It is located just past the fish farm and the road sign ‘Letterfearn’. This is a very nice home with beautiful views of the Loch Duich just across the road. For the short hike to the local broch, Caistel Grugaig/Totaig Broch, some of the trail has been destroyed by landslide. There is a detour trail marked by orange tape at intervals. This detour is very boggy and slow going. Plan to wear good boots to keep your feet dry and protect against injury. The footing is uneven.
