Just amazing! Our first trip to Scotland and this is an excellent base to explore. It’s in such a wonderful location, it is compact but very comfortable and extremely well equipped. We are planning our next stay already! Thank you
We had the most magical 5 day “mini-moon” at Am Bothan. The location is just stunning and sitting in the hot tub each evening looking over the valley with the autumn colours was wonderful. The cabin itself is well equipped (we did all our own cooking), well heated and perfect for two. We found lots to do in the locality and could have done with an extra few weeks to explore or all! Thanks for a great stay.

Not really for a family
The property was very clean and modern. However, it has no storage for clothes, therefore if you are there as a family you have to live out of your bags. There is no washing machine, so again, for a family this is difficult. There is cooking facilities but mainly geared for a couple not a family. There isn’t even a pan big enough to do pasta for 4. There was no info book with recommendations for places to eat etc. which I would say is standard in holiday properties. The wood fired hot tub was not easy. Took 3 hrs to get up to temperature, which meant you couldn’t stay out and have dinner then come back and jump in the tub. Big disappointment. The owner was was the week we were at his property and barring the first day, never responded to messages. We left 2 days early.
