There are lovely walks from the village, over the deer park to Dunster where there are a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also possible to walk through neighbouring fields and farmland to the beach. The village is less than 4 miles from the seaside resort of Minehead, which occupies a sheltered spot beneath the dramatic North Hill, on the West Somerset coast.
