Downtown Historic Grand Haven Duplex - South

Large 3 bedroom home available for summer weekly/monthly rental. Master is big enough for a queen bed and a pack and play if needed. Middle bedroom has a queen bed with twin pullout couch. Extra large dining room seats 8-10 easily. Fully equipped kitchen and spacious comfortable living room! Built in 1918, this historic duplex has been beautifully remodeled and cared for. The front porch faces 5th street, and every evening a 20 minute walk takes you to the end of the Grand Haven pier to watch the sunset. Our home is located in a quaint neighborhood and is just minutes from Lake Michigan beaches, downtown shopping, restaurants and fun! A 10 minute walk takes you to the local YMCA and the area's Imagination Station, tennis & pickleball courts and skate park. There are many restaurants and coffee shops and a bakery within 10 blocks featuring everything from pizza, sushi & seafood to Italian or steaks. Something to please everyone. Come sit on the front porch and watch the world go by. Very charming neighborhood!

The house is in an ideal location--close to the beach, downtown shopping district, and main roads. It is spacious for a large family getaway with three bedrooms, and large dining and family rooms. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay in Grand Haven

We really enjoyed our stay! Located conveniently close to downtown Grand Haven, we really enjoyed walking to shop and visit the local attractions. The house was very comfortable for our family, has a very spacious dining area, and the porch is a great place to hang out! Also, the owner is very responsive if an issue arises which is a definite plus!

This house is charming and spacious, and close to downtown and the beach. The decor is beachy and calming, just what I need on vacation. The owner was very fast to respond to our needs during our stay. We made good use of the kitchen and appreciated the updated appliances. If you're doing a lot of cooking, the kitchen gets hot, so the fans we found in the closets helped with that. We loved having the sand toys available as we forgot ours! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Ideal for Families

Last week was our second stay in this rental, and we enjoyed it even more this time. Kitchen was remodeled since our last visit, and there were new furnishings and bedding. The home is very roomy and in the perfect location--a few blocks from downtown and a short drive to the beach. Highly recommended!

What a great lake.

Excellent stay!

The house was lovely. 100 year-old beauty, updated and done in a cool, beachy palette. Having the beach chairs, towels, umbrella and wagon on hand was a definite plus. Nice to be so close to the beach and shops. Communication with property manager/owner was outstanding -- timely and super helpful!

Labor Day Weekend

Grand Haven is a beautiful little town on The Grand River/Lake Michigan. The house was in walking distance to everything. Our family of 8 adults fit comfortably. We would definitely stay again at the house.

Lovely Duplex

We stayed for 5 nights in June and had a wonderful time. Everything was as described in the listing and we had everything we needed. Beautiful old home

It was a lovely old home. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing we didn’t like was the distance from the town, very noisy street, no fire pit. I believe it said there was a hot tub but there isn’t. But it was great vacation home.

I’m guessing you may have confused my listing with another and thinking there was a hot tub and a fire pit. Because I do not have those checked in the listing. I do hope your overall stay was enjoyably memorable!

We love Grand Haven and love to entertain families having a wonderful time. We lived on one side of this duplex and are now renting it to families and friends.

This place is perfect, with an easy stroll to the beach or all the restaurant and stores within 5 blocks! Several ice cream stores within walking distance!! A historical home, tall ceilings, big rooms downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs, well maintained with new furnishings. Beach equipment provided for your use.

What makes this property unique

Your front porch is perfect for the morning cup of coffee, a leisurely lunch or to watch the Coast Guard Festival parade go by! On a much traveled bike and walking/jogging route.
