This location can’t be beat if you are looking for a beach getaway. Short walking distance to Pere Marquette beach, The Deck and both piers. This was our 4th time staying at this location and we come back for the location.

We loved our stay! The house is in a great location, just steps to the beach and The Deck! The house is spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfy also! It was really nice to have our morning coffee on the deck that overlooks the park! Our host was super-responsive and even invited us to check in early. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic time during our stay. Location was perfect! Very short walk to the beach so we didn’t have to deal with parking which was nice. We had a pleasant time sitting on the large balcony in the morning sipping our coffee and watching the frieghters pass by. Pricing was fair compared with other properties in the beachside community. Plenty of room as well. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back! While the house is an older property, it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. Its charm is more than made up for by its unbeatable location. The downstairs apartment was great for having a more private stay. The only minor suggestion we have is the mattresses and pillows could use some updating. The AC worked great for the super hot days after being at the beach. The house sits directly across from the park, making it perfect for families, and the views of the channel are beautiful. Being so close to the beach, park, and everything the area has to offer made our stay incredibly convenient. You can walk to 2 amazing restaurants with live music. Keep an eye out for all the deer who like to stroll the neighborhood. If you’re looking for luxury finishes, this may not be the place—but if you want an amazing location, gorgeous views, and a comfortable home base for making beach memories, you really can’t beat it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

Beach House

Loved the location but was much more expensive than the $395 a night that was advertised.
Stayed 6 nights in Jul 2023
Response from VrboOwner on 31 August 2023
I"m glad you loved the location. The advertised rate is an average rate based on the whole season, which varies depending on the dates. The rates for the specific dates you booked are clearly stated as July 27 - August 2 and is the height of the summer season. If you would have booked in early June or even late August the rates would have been lower.

Prime location, comfortable stay.

This location can’t be beat! As you can see in the pictures the interior is older but it is clean, the furniture is comfortable and the 1 bedroom apartment downstairs was a great separation for our multigenerational group. Jeff is a great host and he provided all the linens, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and hand soap which was a first for any place that we have rented in the past. If we book a stay in Muskegon again, I would book this home again without hesitation.
