The property was fantastic, with spacious rooms and a great kitchen to make some nice meals.The garden was great with the hot tub and plenty of space.The only small criticism I have is with the house being pet friendly and also set up for young families a gate on the garden would be beneficial as our dog could easily escape. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I have lived most of my life in this area of Shropshire working on the family farm, contracting, then building. I converted the barns and built Stocks Lane and Fields House with my son, Jonathan, amongst many other properties in the area including Percy Thrower’s house in Shrewsbury!
I enjoy hosting because I get to meet some wonderful people from all over the country and abroad. In my free time I enjoy clay shooting, travelling and eating out!

Why they chose this property

My family all live in this area. Shropshire is a beautiful county with rolling hills and lush farmland. We are close to places of historical interest like Chester and Shrewsbury, and a short drive to Snowdonia National Park and wonderful National Trust properties like Chirk Castle, Erdigg Hall, Attingham Park, for example. Other spectacular sites include Ironbridge and the Pontcysyllte Aquaduct.

What makes this property unique

It’s a stunning house - large front porch/mudroom ideal for kicking off those muddy boots and wet gear, or drying off the dog! Huge, open-plan, modern kitchen dining leading directly into a beautiful, bright sunroom overlooking the spacious fenced, back garden and patio with six seater hot tub, BBQ and access to a good sized open area for kicking a ball around with the kids!
