York Cottage in Southwold, Suffolk sleeps six guests in three bedrooms.


York Cottage offers an open plan living space comprising a kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, kettle and toaster, a dining area for gathering together, and a sitting area with a TV and a woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of two doubles and a twin, served by a bathroom with a bath, hand held shower, walk in shower, basin and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard, and roadside parking is available. One well behaved pet is welcome, although pets are not permitted upstairs or on furniture, and this is a smoke free property. You will find a shop, pub and the coast within 0.1 miles and a beach within 0.4 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. York Cottage is a welcoming base for exploring this appealing stretch of the Suffolk coast. Note: The staircase is narrow and tight. Note: There is a Good Housekeeping Bond OF 350 GBP. Note: Due to space the twin room is suitable for younger guests/ children


Amenities: Gas central heating and there is underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs with separate thermostats - this is not a cold property in winter. Electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, kettle, toaster. Wifi, TV. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking is available on the street at the front of the property, though it is by no means guaranteed and there is additional free parking a two minute walk away, You can unload outside and move here if there are no spaces. We do allow one dog, but please keep them downstairs and off the furniture. Enclosed courtyard. Sorry, no smoking. Shop, pub and coast 0.1 miles, beach 0.4 miles. Note: The staircase is narrow and tight. Note: Due to limited space, the twin room is best suited for children or younger guests. This property does not accept Sunday arrivals

Region: Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways – East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.

Town: Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
