About this property

New! Villa walk to Barga! Private Pool, Pizza Oven, Beautiful Views.

Beautiful spacious hillside villa with private pool, pizza oven, plenty of outdoor areas with a 'park' feel, and stunning views. The property is just 3 minutes from Barga by car and 10 minutes or so walking by path into this beautiful and lively medieval town.

Set high in the hills just a few minutes from Barga, this spacious and characterful property offers beautiful views, generous living space, and excellent outdoor areas designed for relaxed group stays. There is a gorgeous covered outdoor eating/bar area with hotplate, fridge, icemaker, blue tooth speakers and lighting. There is also a BBQ and fully functional pizza oven. The owners have prepared two different 'view points' - one with a table and chairs, to enjoy the sunrise with a coffee, and the covered 'sundowner' area with relaxing garden furniture and lighting, overlooking Barga. This is a spectacular spot to enjoy the sunset and drinks. There is a further relaxing area directly outside the house.
Then, there is the sunbathing area with plenty of quality 'extra size' sunbeds, umbrellas, natural shade, a further covered outdoor lounging area, and a good size pool - 9.75M x 4.75M. The pool is out of ground.

We as a family have just stayed here from the 25th -30th of July. When booking I knew it was going to be an experience, but we were all truly overwhelmed by the beauty and luxury of the villa itself and the stunning panoramic views around the grounds. I actually felt like I was on a film set. There was something for everyone; different seating/sunbathing zones around the grounds all with different views. We felt one night we had our own private concert, as it was the month of the jazz festival and the sound travelled whilst we sat overlooking Barga. Spectacular! The pool and outside games cupboard was brilliant archery, badminton and pool volleyball great fun. The outdoor kitchen and dining was beautiful and a joy, as everyone pulled together and you can attach to the sound system .The pizza oven was such fun, pine cones and cotton wool was our kindle. And the pizzas were amazing. Oh, I forgot to mention the hammocks in the trees We did not have a car and Barga was easy to walk to. Two ways to get there.Along the roadside it is a gentle slope and the pathway steeper but both beautiful.Casa Barga Collina is anything you need it to be- quiet time, party time, family time, it is unique. It is surrounded by woodland so stock up on mozzie spray. The mosquito nets in the bedrooms make you feel like royalty.Barga town is beautiful and situated to go to many of the Hamlets around you, but in truth you do not need to leave the villa, the amenities and equipment are exceptional.

Thank you for such an extraordinary review! We’re thrilled that your family was so captivated by the villa, the breathtaking views, and the unique experience of listening to the jazz festival from the terrace. It’s wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, pizza oven, poolside games, and the scenic walks into Barga. We also appreciate your helpful tip for future guests regarding mosquito spray! It was a true pleasure hosting you at Casa Barga Collina, and we would love to welcome you back for another unforgettable stay. Best regards, The Tuscan Retreats Team
