Designed to host up to six guests, the villa offers three bedrooms and four full bathrooms. Two bedrooms feature king-size beds, while a third is arranged with twin beds, allowing flexibility for couples, friends or multigenerational stays. The principal suite includes an en suite bathroom and walk-in closet. Every bedroom enjoys mountain and sea views, along with direct access to the exterior, creating a strong sense of openness throughout the home. Walk-in showers, air conditioning, blackout curtains and generous storage bring comfort with ease and discretion.

The interior balances contemporary warm minimalism with subtle Japandi and organic coastal influences. Natural wood flooring runs throughout, softening the clean architectural lines and lending warmth to the light-filled spaces. Large openings frame the landscape almost like a moving backdrop, while selected works by local artists bring depth and identity to the villa. The name Ouro Verde, inspired by the banana and its place in Madeira’s heritage, finds a subtle echo here, from the surrounding banana plants to the artistic references woven into the home.

The social spaces are generous and fluid, designed to follow the changing mood of the day. The summer living room opens naturally towards the terrace and the view, while the winter living room offers a more enclosed setting for reading, working or settling in during the evening. The double-height feel, panoramic glazing and thoughtful transitions between indoor and outdoor areas give the villa an effortless sense of flow. Beside the open-plan kitchen, the dining area is positioned for breakfasts with the morning light and dinners as the sky begins to change.

Outside, Villa Ouro Verde becomes even more compelling. The infinity pool draws the eye straight towards the Atlantic, while the surrounding deck, sun loungers and outdoor lounge invite long hours under the Madeiran sun. A covered dining area, barbecue and bar beside the pool extend the experience well into the evening, whether for open-air meals or gatherings shaped by the landscape. The garden is framed by banana trees, palms and dragon trees, grounding the villa in the local character of the island. At certain moments, the natural sound of a nearby waterfall can sometimes be heard from the pool area, adding another layer to the atmosphere.

The kitchen is fully equipped and designed for real living, whether for cooking together, preparing breakfast with a sea view or enjoying meals at home. A Smeg coffee machine adds a considered detail, while the separate laundry room supports longer stays with ease. High-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning in the bedrooms and living areas, a winter lounge with Smart TV, and private gated parking for two cars all contribute to a stay that feels smooth, comfortable and well resolved.

Please keep noise to a minimum between 22:00 and 08:00, out of respect for the surrounding environment.

5. Check-In & Check-Out
Kindly respect the scheduled check-in and check-out times to help ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience. Check-ins are welcomed until 22:00. For arrivals after this time, a €32 supplement for night-time coordination applies. This can be settled via the online check-in form or, if not completed in advance, on arrival.

6. Neighbour Awareness

7. Furnishings and Amenities
All furnishings and amenities are provided for your enjoyment throughout the stay. Kindly ensure that no items are removed from the property.

8. Additional Guests or Visitors
Only guests included in the reservation are allowed on the premises.

9. Minimum Guest Age
The villa is designed around open space and views, with unprotected high areas and direct access to the pool, as well as furniture with sharp corners and delicate decorative items at a low level. For safety reasons, the property does not accept infants or children under the age of 16.

10. Insects & Wildlife
This property is located on Madeira Island, known for its lush nature and subtropical climate. Depending on the season, occasional sightings of insects or small wildlife may occur. While regular pest control is in place, a fully insect-free environment cannot be guaranteed. We recommend keeping windows closed, storing food securely, and managing waste appropriately to help maintain comfort.

11. Pool Heating
Pool heating is available at €34 per night, keeping the water at around 27°C to 32°C depending on the weather, with the pool cover in place.

12. Tourist Tax
As part of local requirements, a tourist tax of €2 per person per night (up to 7 nights, for guests aged 13 and above) will be collected during check-in via the registration form. This contribution is forwarded directly to the municipality.
