The interior is cozy and functional, featuring a modern design with natural elements that invite relaxation. It is equipped with air conditioning to ensure comfort in any season, as well as Wi-Fi to keep you connected. The kitchen includes all the essentials, allowing you to prepare simple meals and enjoy them at your own pace.

Outside, you'll find a truly special setting. The outdoor area is designed for moments of tranquility, whether as a couple or with family. The highlight is the private outdoor jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing under the stars and enjoying a unique experience surrounded by nature.

Imagine starting your day with a peaceful coffee outdoors, surrounded by greenery, and ending the night in the jacuzzi, with soft lighting and a unique atmosphere that invites you to unwind.
The jacuzzi is switched off/cold upon arrival. Heating takes approximately 12 hours to reach the ideal temperature. If you would like the jacuzzi heated upon arrival, this service is available upon prior request, at an additional cost of €50 per reservation.

The property also offers free parking and self check-in for added convenience.

I live close by and am happy to help whenever I'm around, but when I'm not, there is a 24/7 on-the-phone concierge service that can provide you assistance any time of the day.

A peaceful and charming apartment in Gaula, set in a quiet area on Madeira’s east coast. Guests are close to beautiful coastal spots such as Praia das Palmeiras and Machico Beach, perfect for swimming and relaxing by the sea.

The area also offers easy access to scenic viewpoints, levada walking trails, and the lively town of Santa Cruz, while Funchal’s historic center is just a short drive away. With a perfect mix of nature, coastline, and local culture, it’s an ideal base for exploring Madeira’s landscapes and enjoying a relaxing island stay.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.

There is no train station on Madeira Island, as transport is mainly provided by buses and road networks.

The nearest public transport option is the local bus service (line 113), with stops within a short walking distance (approx. 5–10 minutes), offering connections between Gaula, Funchal, and the airport.

Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport (FNC) is approximately a 10–15 minute drive from the property, depending on traffic.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property.


There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.


Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.


For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.


Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).

Please note: A rental contract must be signed online prior to your arrival. We will not be able to provide your check-in instructions until the contract is signed.
