Just a 3-min walk to the centre of Stratford Upon Avon, 200 yards to the nearest pub and less than 1km to the Royal Shakespeare company makes this property perfectly placed to explore Shakespeare’s birthplace and the surrounding area. A short drive takes you to Warwick and the Cotswolds. With free on street parking and dogs welcome, this stunning cottage has everything you need for a luxury stay.

The space
Dating back to 1875, this charming period home beautifully blends historic character with modern comfort. Arranged over two floors, the property offers a thoughtfully designed layout ideal for both relaxing and entertaining.

On the ground floor, a welcoming reception room provides a comfortable living space, leading through to a well-proportioned kitchen with ample workspace. To the rear, a separate dining room creates an inviting setting for meals, with a sense of privacy and charm.

Upstairs, the first floor comprises two well-sized double bedrooms, both offering a bright and modern atmosphere, along with a contemporary bathroom.

The layout is practical and well-balanced, making excellent use of the space throughout.

With its classic proportions, original charm, and functional design, this home offers a wonderful combination of period character and everyday convenience.

Guest access
As guests, you have full exclusive access to the cottage and garden. The only locked area is in a cupboard in the kitchen where we keep cleaning supplies.

Other things to note
Free on street parking is available for the duration of your stay. Parking in Stratford-Upon-Avon is extremely limited and often expensive. We are pleased to be able to offer one on street parking permit for your vehicle. This gives you free parking for one vehicle for the duration of your stay in designated parking areas within the S2 zone only. Please provide your car registration number prior to arrival to take advantage of this.

Our normal policy is to provide a permit for 1 vehicle only, but it may be possible for us to provide 2 visitor permits if available; please contact us before your arrival to discuss your parking needs.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Keys to be returned to the safe lock box and by the fire extinguisher as they were found.
Used towels to be put in the shower cubicle for cleaning.
Leave bed linen on the beds. If any beds or towels are unused then please place the card on them so we know not to wash these. Thank you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
