The living areas in this first-floor apartment consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with double oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice-box, washer/dryer, dishwasher and TV, a dining area with corner sofa and table and a sitting room with sofa bed and Juliet balcony. There is one king-size bedroom with TV, Juliet balcony and en-suite bathroom. Outside there is an allocated parking space for one car, and private, shared gardens with lawn, shed for sailing storage, swimming pool and a private pontoon for guests bringing their own boat. Shop opposite, pub adjacent and beach 0.9 miles. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. 24 The Salcombe is an idyllic setting for a romantic coastal getaway in Devon. Note: This is a first-floor apartment, but it can be accessed from street level. Note: One step up into the sitting room. Note: Sofa bed in the sitting room sleeps two additional guests. Note: This is a first floor apartment which is accessed from the main entrance yet conveniently has its own entrance directly from and on the same level as Fore Street. Note: The pontoon berth for Apartment 24 is number 24, please ensure any guest bringing a boat to the pontoon MUST ensure it is no longer than 5m including engine and no more than a beam of 2m, Any boat infringing this will be towed away by the Harbour Master and impounded. Please note: There is a step up from the double bedroom to a sitting and harbour viewing area and the bathroom.

Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. You can also take the small ferry across the estuary to the beaches of East Portlemouth, and a walk to Gara Rock. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including sailing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
