Stunning 4 Bed Villa, Sleeps 8 with breathraking views. Close to Katelios beach
Set in 1 acre of private gated gardens, among citrus trees and olive groves with absolutely stunning views out to sea and neighbouring Zakynthos as well as amazing mountain views.
The main Villa consists of 3 double ensuite bedrooms, a modern fully equipped kitchen, a large fully equipped living room space and an inside dining area. The Living room has a large TV with all UK and international channels, including all sports and Movie channels and streaming. There is also a Blue tooth Hi Fi / radio to connect devices and modern furnishings.
The separate self-contained annex house is 15 meters from the main house contains a Kitchen / dining area, double ensuite bedroom plus double sofa bed.
All rooms are fully A/C with amazingly comfy beds. Wi-Fi coverage to the entire property and pool area. The mix of ground & 1st floor & bedrooms makes it ideal for those with challenges around stairs.
The outside areas consist of plenty of shade and garden furniture to enjoy the views with a drink, morning coffee or Tea. There is a separate shaded BBQ - kitchen / outside dining area, overlooking the pool for those evenings entertaining.
The Pool: A large, 12 x 4.5 meters (1.8meters deep) infinity pool with a built in Jacuzzi area to enjoy the views while relaxing. It is also long enough to get those early morning late evening lengths in for those wanting a solitary 2 or 3 km swim!

One of our favourite pastimes since our teenage years has been Island hopping around the Greek Islands and we have been to most. After visiting Kefalonia for the first time, we were surprised to learn how beautiful and unspoiled the Island was. We fell in love with the place and our original intention before hosting was to move from the UK and live in the Villa. Plans change, as they do, and although reluctantly at first, we took the plunge into hosting and have never looked back!

Why they chose this property
I can not reiterate enough just how stunning the views are. When we first saw the views looking South out over the Ionian sea to the neighbouring Island of Zakythos, we knew in our hearts that this is the perfect place to have a home. Then on the North side of the house you have the beautiful mountain views, with Mount Ainos reaching an elevation of 1,628 / 5,341ft, looking spectacular in the different lights of the day.
What makes this property unique
The tranquil, peaceful and private 1 acre fenced and gated gardens of fruit trees, roses and lawn, are set amoung the rural olive groves on the outskirts of Mavrata Village. Semi-Wild ponies roam around the propertie (So keeping the gates closed is a must)
