Be enchanted by this charming A-shaped cottage, located in peaceful surroundings at the end of a cul-de-sac. Here you will find both tranquility and activity, with proximity to both the Gudenåen river and the beautiful Gjern hills.
The cottage has been newly renovated with respect for the soul of the house. The kitchen is a custom-made carpentry kitchen, and the interior is cozy and warm. The living room invites you to relax in the sofa area, where you can read a book or just relax in front of the wood-burning stove.
The garden is something special. Here you can enjoy a glass of wine on the large terrace, take a hot bath on a winter's day in the frost-proof outdoor bath, sleep in the fresh air in the shelter, or warm up in the sauna barrel, which also functions as an annex. The garden is the perfect place for cosiness and togetherness.
The area offers fantastic nature experiences. Take a kayak trip on the Gudenåen river, hike or cycle along the Trækstien trail from Silkeborg to Randers, or explore the old railway trails. There is something for everyone.
Use of the sauna: 25 DKK per hour. This is settled with the host after your stay.
Not far from the cottage is a shared heated pool, which is available from mid-April to mid-September.
