About this property

Thatched jewel between the North and Baltic Seas

Between sporting activities on the many surrounding waters and the calming tranquility of the moorlands, North Friesland shines with its unique character. Not far from the Eider River, the thatched-roof house stands out between the tops of tall trees. The North Sea with the white beach of St. Peter-Ordings as well as the Baltic Sea with the Eckernförder Bay are less than an hour away.

Harmoniously nestled in the 3,400 m² park-like garden, the red bricks exude an inviting farmhouse charm. The first floor and upper floor each house a self-contained, independent apartment, which you can rent together or separately. The separate entrances provide enough privacy for both options.

The two levels can accommodate up to 13 people - making the house a comfortable accommodation for a vacation with the whole family, friends or for two friendly families. Upstairs there are three bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with a single bed and one with two single beds that can be converted into a double bed if desired. In addition, a 140 cm fold-out sofa serves as a comfortable sleeping accommodation. In the living room on the first floor there is another sofa bed and two bedrooms with double beds.

The spacious house offers plenty of room for socializing as well as being alone. On the first floor, the eat-in kitchen with its charming tiled stove invites you to spend evenings in company. In the open living room upstairs there is enough space for a yoga session. In the garden you can be enchanted by a different beautiful bloom in every season and enjoy the silence of nature.

Note: We love thatched cottages - when dealing with fire and electricity, we ask guests to take care not to expose the thatched roof to any fire risk. You will receive more detailed instructions from your host.
