The Old Watermill, built in 1833, is situated in a quiet, secluded location on a large, private property near Börm—surrounded by nature, fields, and the gentle flow of water. It’s a place where you can get away with family or friends and leave the daily grind behind.
With approximately 212 m² of space spread over two floors, there’s plenty of room here for up to ten guests. In total, there are five bedrooms and four bathrooms—ideal for spending time together without feeling cramped. Two of the sleeping areas are particularly suitable for children.
What makes the mill special: You’ll be using two interconnected living units as a single home. They’re connected via a walk-through room with a single bed—keeping the space open while still well-divided. This creates two living areas, each with its own kitchen and dining area. It’s perfect if you’re traveling with multiple generations or friends: You’re together, but you can also find your own quiet space whenever you want.
The bedrooms feature large, comfortable beds, plenty of storage space, and everything you need for a good night’s sleep. The bathrooms are modern and functional—with multiple showers, plenty of space, and everything you’d like to have within reach on vacation.
Even though the house exudes a sense of tranquility, there are plenty of opportunities to stay active. A game room, pool table, foosball, and table tennis provide variety, plus there’s a small fitness area. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more peaceful, you’ll find a place to unwind in the separate relaxation room. Wi-Fi is, of course, available—fast enough in case you need to work or stream something.
Outside, there’s plenty of space all around the house. The patio, garden, and several seating areas invite you to spend the day outdoors—whether it’s for breakfast, a barbecue, or simply soaking up the sun. There are play areas for children, and nature begins right at the edge of the property.
The mill is situated by the water and offers a sweeping view of the countryside. A small rowboat is available, and the surrounding area is perfect for walks, bike rides, or simply getting some fresh air. Shops and restaurants are just a few kilometers away—a car is definitely recommended here.
Five private parking spaces are available right next to the house for the duration of your stay. The property is smoke-free, allergy-friendly, and can accommodate pets upon request.
In short: plenty of space, plenty of peace and quiet, and a house steeped in history—ideal for spending time together in nature.
