Heart of St. Elmo-Family Friendly- 2 Blocks to Incline

Set in a casual modern style with a long, open floor plan, this house is set right in the heart of historic St. Elmo. Situated near new and older homes, restaurants, shopping, and Chattem Industries. A block's walk away from the Incline Railway, and only a 10 minute drive to downtown Chattanooga. Perfect for anyone looking to explore our gorgeous city.
We're always on call to answer questions and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our daughter-in-law, Erin, also helps us co-host, so you'll likely be in contact with her throughout your planning and stay.
The oldest and most historic district in Chattanooga, St. Elmo has a lot to offer. There are several activities and highlights to explore both on Lookout Mountain and in downtown Chattanooga. Explore Point Park, the Chattanooga Choo Choo, River Walk, the Chattanooga Lookouts (for baseball fans), and so much more.
There is also a Food City grocery store within walking distance from the house. The Virginia Avenue Greenway pedestrian and bike lane is nearby, and connects St. Elmo to downtown.
There is also a Carta bus (#15) that runs from St. Elmo Ave to Broad Street in downtown Chattanooga. It runs Monday through Saturday. All Pricing Includes applicable TN Sales and Gross Receipts Taxes.

Trip was a weekend with another adult couple. The home was perfect and we had a blast. The location of the home is within walking distance and a short drive to many great things to do. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for girls' trip

This property was perfect for a long weekend girls' trip. The house was clean, well maintained nicely decorated. It had everything we needed and we loved that we could easily walk to local restaurants. The property owners were responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect weekend getaway!

Very impressed, everything was very clean and beautiful! It was perfect for our girls weekend getaway! Only recommendation would be to add a full length mirror somewhere in the house, otherwise it was exactly what we needed!

Nice house, quiet area! Can walk to a ton of activities or restaurants. 1 minute walk from the Incline Railway and 5 minute drive to Ruby Falls!

The check in was easy and communication response with the owner was very fast. Unfortunately the television in the living room did not work and the sheets in the guest room had hair all over and did not look to have been changed. There were lots of clean sheets stocked and I just changed them as it could have been due to static or something. Otherwise the property was very clean and quiet and the owner was unaware of the television situation.

Spring in St. Elmo

Very cute, clean house in St. Elmo only minutes away from downtown Chattanooga, the Incline, Lookout Mountain and hiking. Off street parking is a plus. It was easy-in and easy-out.

Family Holiday Vacation

This home has a super location......walkable to restaurants, coffee, and ice cream......just blocks from the Incline Railway. While the home was clean and adequately equipped, we were surprised to find that there were no extra towels provided (only one per person) and that we were expected to take the overflowing trash bin (from the previous renters) to the street. Other than that, we found that this property met all our needs.

Great place to stay

We didn’t cook but home had very nice supplies. Some extra things that most places don’t supply. Home was big and comfortable and very clean. Parking was kind of awkward because we had a big SUV. Also this is only a two bathroom home not four bathrooms as listed. Nice location. Ate at 1885 and Tap House restaurant. Both delicious and only couple blocks away. Also the grandkids had ice cream every night at klumpies. Klumpies and incline ride only couple block walk. Everyone super nice and would definitely stay again. Also a great front porch. We sat out every night.

Big, spacious home in great location!

House is big and spacious in a great location. TVs in every room, but difficult to use. Missing a couple of key items-cutting board, toaster, additional night lights. Overall a great stay, we’d stay again for sure!
