A Very Clean Property in a Safe Neighborhood
The property was extremely clean, and everything worked well during my stay. The neighborhood felt safe, and one of the biggest advantages is that the property is close to the airport, making arrival and departure much more convenient and less stressful.
However, the check-in experience was disappointing. No one was available to assist me when I arrived, and I had to rely on a neighbor for help. I strongly recommend that the host improve the check-in arrangements and ensure that someone who speaks English is available to assist guests. Many English-speaking tourists visit the Dominican Republic, and clear communication can make a significant difference to their experience.
It would also be helpful if the host provided guests with basic information about nearby taxis, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, and other essential services. The nearest major store, Garrido, is approximately a 25-minute walk away, and the property is some distance from the main commercial areas. Guests should therefore plan ahead and bring cash for taxi fares.
Overall, despite the check-in difficulties and the distance from commercial areas, I appreciated how exceptionally clean the property was, the fact that everything worked properly, and the safety of the neighborhood. I would definitely consider staying here again, provided I was better prepared for transportation and local amenities.
