Cozy Cabin At Bear Creek Lake-Washer/Dryer, Pillows and Linens Provided

Located in the community of Bear Creek Lake, this cabin is located on approximately 1.7 acres of wooded serenity. A full kitchen, internet, cable and 3 bedrooms will help you feel right at home. With so many activities to mention, you could head down to 2 of the lakeside beaches with your favorite paddle board or raft or simply relax by the large pool. You have access to the lake, pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and playground within the Bear Creek Lake Community.

Approximately 5 miles south, you could also visit historic Jim Thorpe with quaint shops, pubs, restaurants, hiking, biking, and/or taking some scenic views in while traveling north on a train ride. Blue Mountain, CamelBack, Jack Frost/Big Boulder Ski Resorts are a short drive for some fantastic skiing and the Fall Foliage will keep you coming back for years to come. Therefore, come and relax on the large front deck or sit out back around the campfire roasting marshmallows and creating memories to last a lifetime.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a NO SMOKING and NO PET home. You must provide your own paper products, tea towels and bath towels. All linens, mattress protectors, comforters and pillows are provided. A washer/dryer is also included.

Cozy cabin

We had a perfect stay. We stayed 2 days and it was perfect for our stay. The pool was great. It was only 6 minutes from Penns Peak. We would highly recommended. The only down fall which is not their fault. The trash was closed on our stay so we had to take it with us.

Peaceful cabin

We had a nice stay. The cabin is beautiful and invites to have a peaceful and joyful time. Please, be aware you need to bring your own shower/bathroom towels. For the price paid for the cabin stay, towels should be provided.

Perfect place for a weekend stay

We stayed for the weekend while going to a Spartan race. We went I to town across the river, what a charming place. House was perfect, had everything we needed. Even a washer and dryer which is a huge plus after running that race!!

Family of four LOVED our private cabin this week! Probably saw 150+ deer and enjoyed the great pool, lake and playground, along with all the great restaurants and shops. Perfect!

Such a great experience

This was our one year anniversary, and we couldn’t have had a better time or picked a better place. So cozy, clean and close to town while still being somewhat secluded. Looking forward to staying here again.

Perfect getaway!

We had a lovely time at the Cozy Cabin! Comfortable and ready with many amenities (fireplace, outdoor sitting and dining areas) to make it a true getaway. Perfectly located for access to lots of nearby activity. A great spot!

Comfortable Stay and Great Location!

My friend and I (and our 2 toddlers) had a wonderful stay at the cabin! We were very comfortable - the beds and pillows were great, the individual thermostats in each room were much appreciated. The kitchen was great for cooking and prepping. And there were even some toys for our toddlers who were thrilled! The location is great - friendly neighbors and nice walking around Bear Lakes. Very close to downtown Jim Thorpe and trails, which we really enjoyed. It was a great spot, and we would definitely return.

Great Cabin for Blue Mtn and Jim Thorpe

Very comfortable cabin located 10 minutes from Jim Thorpe and 25 from Blue Mountain Bike Park. Some friends and I stayed here while riding at the bike park and really enjoyed the fire pit and grill. The bedrooms were exactly what we needed and the kitchen was well equipped. Great place to stay!

Loved the Cozy Cabin

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at the Cozy Cabin. It’s proximity to Jim Thorpe was perfect. We rode the train, biked and used paddle boats. The cabin was very clean.

Wonderful trip and cabin!

We had a wonderful trip! The owners were amazing and very responsive. The property was spotless and all pictures showed the cabin accurately. We had a great visit and within 25 min drive to blue mountain for our activities. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful cabin/area

Cabin was clean and looked just like the pictures! Lake and pool were great for the kids! We saw many doe and fawns in the backyard. Easy check in and owners responded quickly to our questions. Would recommend to family and friends.

Excellent trip

House is amazing and perfect as a place to come back to after skiing. Backyard has a nice fire pit and great chairs to relax in at night. The owners shoveled out a pathway to the fire pit, which was greatly appreciated and shows the level of care at the property.

Peaceful Mountain Getaway

Cozy, clean and so conveniently located between Jim Thorpe and Lake Harmony. Our family enjoyed the peacefulness of the cabin location and enjoyed the cozy fireplace at night while we enjoyed watching family movies. All the comforts of home! Definitely recommend for small families and couples. Hope to return again real soon!

My wife and I are originally from the Carbon County area, but our jobs have taken us to the Lancaster area. After we had our children, two boys which love the outdoors, we decided to purchase a second home. We now spend many our of our vacations exploring the Jim Thorpe area and we hope you will find it as relaxing and peaceful as we do.

Why they chose this property

We chose this house because it sits on 1.7 wooded acres and it really has that comfy cabin feel. The property is less than a mile from the lake and pool but when you want quiet time, you can just sit back, relax and admire all the deer at the cabin.

What makes this property unique

Unique benefits of our place is you are in a perfect location for hiking, biking, skiing, swimming or just relaxing. Everything you could possibly want to do is only a few miles away. Your beach and pool tags also allow you to use all of the amenities that are located in the pool area which include a playground, tennis, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, bocce ball, shuffle board & corn-hole. There is also a 2nd beach volleyball court located at the north beach.
