Kitchen – a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, a breakfast bar with stools, and a complete set of cookware and kitchen utensils.



Laundry room – washing machine, iron, ironing board, and drying rack, with a door to the outside.

SURROUNDING AREA



Sant Feliu de Pallerols is a quiet village in the La Garrotxa region of inland Girona, surrounded by forested hills and the edges of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. The village has a calm pace of life, local character, and marked trails for hikers and cyclists starting close to the centre.



Neighbourhood



The house is on Carrer de la Creu, a quiet residential street in the village centre. The area is calm, with direct neighbours on either side. Please note that privacy in the garden and pool area is more limited than in an isolated rural property — the outdoor spaces look out over neighbouring houses and the surrounding hillside. Because of the close neighbours, respecting quiet hours (22:00–08:00) is especially important here.



Town (Sant Feliu de Pallerols)



The village is walkable, with basic services and a strong local feel. It is a good base for exploring the natural park on footby bike, with paths and quiet roads leading directly into the surrounding landscape.



Region (La Garrotxa)



La Garrotxa is best known for the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park, one of the best-preserved volcanic landscapes in the Iberian Peninsula, with around 40 volcanic cones and lava fields woven through beech forests and farmland. The regional capital, Olot, is around 15 km away and has a good choice of restaurants, a weekly market, and cultural sites. Girona is about 45 km to the east, and the Costa Brava coastline is within 60 km. The region is well set up for cyclists and hikers, with a network of rural paths and low-traffic roads running through the park and connecting villages.



CLIMATE



La Garrotxa has a moderate inland Mediterranean climate, somewhat cooler than the coast due to its inland position and volcanic topography. Summers are warm (July and August typically reach 28–32°C), with pleasant evenings and long daylight hours. Spring and autumn are green and mild, with temperatures between 12–22°C — well suited to hiking, cycling, and exploring the natural park without the heat of summer. Winters are cool and often misty, but rarely very cold, making the area a comfortable base for off-season retreats. The landscape stays green and lush year-round, kept so by the region's rainfall.

Majordoms Art is set up for comfortable self-catering stays all year round. The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, Nespresso machine, kettle, and toaster.



For dining and everyday cooking, the kitchen is fully equipped with at least 2 full sets of cutlery and crockery for all guests.



For longer stays, there is a washing machine, plus a drying rack, an iron, and an ironing board.



Heating is provided by a heat pump in the dining room and fireplaces in both the living room and the dining room. The living room on the top floor has air conditioning.



The private outdoor pool is maintained professionally. The pool area includes sun loungers, a sun umbrella, a pool shower, and a garden lounge set.

The nearest airports are Girona (GRO), around 45 km away, and Barcelona El Prat (BCN), around 120 km away. The town of Olot, around 15 km from Sant Feliu de Pallerols, has the nearest bus connections from Girona.



A car is strongly recommended. The village is also reachable by bike via the rural road network, which is popular with cyclists in the region.
