Spindrift - cute country cottage in Arundel

This gorgeous country cottage in the centre of Arundel has views over the castle from the master bedroom and views over the river from the front! Spindrift is absolutely bursting with charm and is the perfect spot from which to explore Arundel.

Guests will enter through a lovely country stable door which leads directly into the living room which has a big leather sofa, 2 armchairs and smart TV and a small dining area for 4. Please note that the fireplace is decorative only. This leads through to the rustic kitchen (with oven, hob, sink, washing machine, fridge, no dishwasher) and onto a lovely little outdoor area - perfect for a drink or BBQ on a warm evening.

Upstairs there are two simple country bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with 2 singles. The shared bathroom has a bath with shower above it. The stairs are extremely steep so this cottage is unsuitable for families with very young children or for anyone with mobility issues.

There is a small public carpark opposite the house and views over the River Arun. If you are looking for free parking drive past the castle to Swanbourne Lake where parking is unrestricted but a 5-10 minute walk from the property.

Well behaved dogs are welcome (but they cannot be left alone in the cottage and are not allowed on furniture) – there is a £27.50 charge for stays 3-7 nights and for each subsequent week.

Spindrift is very well located in town just a minute off the High Street and less than 5 minutes walk to Arundel Castle.

There is so much to do in town: as well as the castle which set in incredible grounds, Arundel Cathedral is a must-see and there is a museum, plenty of antique shops and numerous restaurants. The town also has a Lido which is wonderful on a hot day and the beach is only a 15 minute drive away. Arundel is a favourite for Goodwood guests to stay over the Festival of Speed and Glorious Goodwood. There are also beautiful walks over the South Downs.
