About this property
Casa Marinella: Peace and Quiet in the Historic Village of Porchia
Casa Marinella is a cosy and well-maintained detached house located in the charming and quiet historic centre of Porchia, a picturesque hamlet of Montalto delle Marche. Designed to comfortably accommodate up to 5 people, the home is spread over two well-organized levels, featuring exceptionally bright and airy rooms.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen complete with a dining table, as well as a spacious living room featuring a comfortable double sofa bed and a television. An internal staircase leads to the ground floor, which is entirely dedicated to the sleeping area. Here you’ll find a comfortable double bedroom with air conditioning and a TV, a second single bedroom (also equipped with a TV), and a spacious full bathroom.
To preserve the authenticity and tranquility of the medieval village, the house is located in a completely pedestrian-only area and cannot be reached directly by car. However, the accommodation is easily accessible on foot—just a 20-meter walk from the nearby free public car park, where you can leave your car with complete peace of mind.
Staying in Porchia will allow you to unwind and immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of the Marche hills, amid breathtaking views and well-preserved historic villages. The town of Montalto delle Marche, historically known as the birthplace of Pope Sixtus V, offers splendid medieval architecture, museums, and an excellent local food and wine tradition.
The house is ideally located for exploring the entire Piceno region: in about 25 minutes by car, you can reach the sea and the golden beaches of the Riviera delle Palme, with the renowned seaside resorts of Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto. For lovers of culture and art, the splendid city of Ascoli Piceno—famous for its spectacular travertine Piazza del Popolo—is just over half an hour away, while the inland area offers beautiful nature trails leading to the Monti Sibillini National Park.
