Within 0.2 miles you will find a shop and within 0.5 miles you will find a pub and please note that one well-behaved pet is welcome but sorry, no smoking. The Sandford pub offers traditional British fare as a dining choice, while the adjoining Premier convenience store is a good place to fill up on necessities. The bustling town of Wareham, which sits on the River Frome and is home to a local museum, is conveniently close to the village. Traveling east will take you to Bournemouth, which is packed with seaside attractions like the Oceanarium and the Russell Coats Art Gallery. A must-see town is Poole, which is reachable by drive from Sandford and has attractions all along the Quay as well as a number of museums and parks to explore.
