Offering an extensive network of well-marked footpaths and cycle routes, it’s the perfect place for walks, picnics and adventures in nature. For a change of pace, head to the nearby market town of Dolgellau (6 miles), where you’ll find independent shops, cafes, eateries and the scenic Mawddach Trail. Spend an afternoon in Barmouth (12 miles) and enjoy breathtaking views across the Mawddach Estuary before discovering its sandy beach, picturesque harbour, museum, funfair, local boutiques and a great choice of places to eat.
As you arrive at this detached stone cottage, you can’t help but stop and take in its beautiful surroundings – listen to the wildlife, river, and rustling woodland before stepping inside.
