This wonderful hideaway enjoys a tranquil setting amongst the Wiltshire countryside, just 1 mile from Trowbridge. The single-storey, open-plan retreat is perfect for couples and solo travellers looking to rest and recharge in a remote setting, whilst still being within easy reach of Trowbridge’s independent shops and eateries. The town is also renowned for its rich heritage, and you can explore Trowbridge’s industrial past at the museum, as well as admire the fabulous Victorian and Georgian buildings that line its picturesque streets. Alternatively, head into Bradford-on-Avon (3 miles) to take a stroll along the pretty canal towpath and dine in one of the many pubs or restaurants overlooking the water. Further afield, enjoy day trips to the elegant city of Bath (11 miles) and the quaint towns and villages of the Cotswolds, or spend the day amongst the wildlife at Longleat Safari Park (12 miles).


The rural bolthole sits at the end of a no-through road, adjacent to the owner’s home yet with privacy assured. Inside, the holiday cottage is decorated in calming, natural tones and also features rustic wooden floors, exposed beams, and whitewashed stonework. The main living space is open plan, with a stylish kitchen area in one corner with a breakfast bar and everything needed for a self-catering getaway. In the evenings, relax on the plump sofa to watch a movie on the Smart TV. Just off the living area is an inviting double bedroom with sumptuous linens for a good night’s sleep and a contemporary en-suite shower room to freshen up before a day of exploring.


There’s a small courtyard outside the property, where you can sit with a morning coffee as you plan your day. Just 500 metres from the cottage, you’ll also have access to a traditional barrel sauna and a cold plunge tub (available at an additional cost). Private parking is available for two cars.
