Good staycay and locality to Bath.
The cottage had good facilities. Make sure to take any bits you need for cooking as the house had only salt pepper and tea/ coffee, very basic. Likewise you need shower gels etc
Heating/ boiler is quite loud but the cottage warms up well.
The bed needs updating as it is very thin and quite uncomfortable, similarly the sofa was very low and dipped. So our sleep was a little bit uncomfortable.
Beautiful property in a very clean state. Suited our purposes as it was so close to Bath where we were attending our daughter's graduation.I would have preferred a cafetière to make coffee but this was a minor point.
We loved staying at the Cottage on Mill Lane! The space is so comfortable for 2 people, including couches, TV, dinner table, large bathroom and a kitchen with everything you'd need. Close enough to town to visit and far enough away to feel at peace. Lovely stay, thank you!
Quiet, peaceful location with all the facilities you require. The owners are very helpful too. We have family in Bath so was convenient for visiting. We enjoyed our stay and would revisit.

Set on a working farm.
Set in a charming, isolated country hamlet on a farm. Access to the property is down long, narrow roads, which are charming, but hair-raising at times. Farm equipment is stored behind and to the side of the property. We found the location to be quiet during our stay. The location is good for those who enjoy long country walks. The hamlet is surrounded by beautiful countryside.
A very comfortable quiet location in the country. Lovely views of the surrounding country side. Close to the park and ride to Bath. A pleasant walk across the public footpath to the Priston Mill.
Birds cooing Squirrels running about and sunshine what more can you ask for
Great cottage with all you need for a relaxing break from the rat race
Great pubs within easy reach with good food
Thanks for everything

The place was hard to find but if we had followed the instruction to the letter we would have found it sooner. It was lovely to be surrounded by animals in a peaceful and quiet environment. The property was ideal for us. So near to Bath yet so far away from the bustle.
The accommodation is situated on a farm. It is relatively modern in terms of layout and furnishings, all set out to a good standard. The 'gite' is spacious with well fitted out kitchen and bathroom. There is a washing machine as well as dishwasher which were welcome items in the kitchen. There is a well set-out private garden and patio. You are in a very rural environment, but the park n ride for Bath city centre is only about 2 miles away. Our hosts were very helpful and welcoming as well. All good and highly recommended.
Great. Very easy to fine. Parking. Clean. All Mod cons. Easy access to countryside. Only negative would be that there were some farm vans blocking some of the view, but it is a working farm.

Bring your shampoo!
Very surprised that the basics were not supplied. No shampoo, conditioner or bath gel. One bath towel and one hand towel. One paper towel on the roll in the kitchen. While it is a self service accommodation, generally kitchen basics such as salt, pepper and cooking oil are supplied. The double bed is not the most comfortable but will suffice. The location is difficult to find by cab, and not well supplied by taxi so you would be advised to have a car. The location is great if you want to get away from it all but still be within 15 minutes of Bath. Just pack your shampoo. And salt.

Hi we’re sorry you were surprised on arrival we feel our listing is very clear on what is and isn’t supplied
We always recommend you have your own transportation when staying in this cottage as it’s in a rural location and not on a bus route.
We supply as stated in our listing salt pepper and oil these are in the cupboard I’m sorry you did not find them. Toilet rolls hand wash, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets and all cleaning essentials.
We leave tea coffee sugar biscuits and a few milk pots to use on arrival.
I think you though we were a bed and breakfast as you messaged an hour before arrival and asked if breakfast was included in the price, this is a self catering accommodation so guests either cook for themselves or eat out.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and we do not supply food it is a self catering listing.
Checking the amenities supplied/provided and location of properties before booking would possibly be helpful for you when travelling in the future.
Kind regards
Starting off with the good points, the place is well located just outside of Bath but near enough to the park and ride to get into the city quickly. It is rather isolated so finding the property was slightly tricky in the dark but the instructions provided did help. The place was clean and warm on arrival and was a good space for 2 people. The negatives were that it felt like little effort had been put in and that it would only cost a little bit to make the place much nicer (providing coasters, place mats, blankets etc). The bed was also not particularly comfortable which I've seen others mention. Also it would be nice if toiletries like shower gel or shampoo were provided (I realise it doesn't say in the advert that these are provided but it's kind of expected for the price per night being over £100 after all fees are included). Also we were only provided with 4 teabags which is a bit tight when we were staying for 3 nights. There were also a large number of spiders that were in the property on arrival and it seemed like these could have been removed in the cleaning process. Finally, we found it a bit cheeky to pay a cleaning fee and then still be asked to strip the beds and put the bedding in the washing machine! Overall, the place is fine but not worthy of 5* with what is provided and when the price per night is taken into consideration.
Lovely clean cottage with everything needed. The bed wasn’t too comfortable, quite low but extremely quiet. Katy was always available and even gave us some butter that we had forgotten. We found the property easily but the taxis that we used struggled to find us.
